Please join us Thursday, February 23rd for the screening of "Taking Root - The Vision of Wangari Maathai and the Green Belt Movement". This amazing Kenyan woman, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, died last September, but her legacy of tree planting in Kenya and around the world is a truly inspiring story. This film shows the courage and impact of one woman, and how important trees are, not only in Kenya but in our own communities. There will be discussion after the movie.

Film starts at 6:45pm, in the assembly room of the Midland Library. Admission by donation, refreshments provided by Grounded Coffee. Please bring your own mug!
